11月4日，由湖南省人民政府主办，湖南省体育局承办的2018年首届“健康湖南”全民运动会大力士（体能王）总决赛在长沙市城市运动体验馆开赛，我校代表队荣获“健康湖南”全民运动会大力士（体能王）大赛团体奖第一名和第二名，本次比赛包括各地州市代表队、各俱乐部代表队、各学校代表队等共计10余支代表队，150名健身达人共同参赛。我校代表队由红宝石网站hbs院长刘雪勇教授任领队，旷怡老师任教练，红宝石网站hbs社会体育系19名学生组成两只参赛队伍，参加了5个比赛项目角逐。本场比赛中我校两支队伍在比赛过程中表现出惊人的意志力与团队精神，不畏强手奋勇拼搏，传承体育精神，弘扬全面健身，全面展现出专业素质与素养。湖南日报,三湘都市报、潇湘晨报、搜狐体育、新浪体育、红网、华声在线等多家主流媒体对此项赛事进行了报道。（旷怡、雷文英供稿）
